Loving them on mine! And can confirm, the restored ones (Yellow) look top quality.
Those pads look same as Brembo DC5/FD2 ones
Si there the same as a MK1 Focus RS Pad. not sure if that's common with the DC5/FD2 as well

Ok - were looking into shapes - they look the same as the FD2/DC5 Calliper that's also used in a Nissan Brembos as well. Just checking the thickness also as that may be different.

We have ordered a set of RS Mk1 pads in to check against PMU ones - its more for our own benefit being a Ford Dealer TBH!

let me know how they differ as I would be interested to know if you can get a pad that will fit this calliper with a larger swept area. From memory this pads swept area is 51mm

The RS Pads are not the same shape as the early Honda brembos - the location pins are not the same.

Also the Ford OE RS ones come with new pistons mounted on the pads (crazy - but we now know why they are so expensive!! ~ RRP £500!!!)

I'll do some more digging - have you any part number for the Aston caliper pads?

Been waiting for this to come on offer for a while and as Tegiwa had 15% for Black Friday I couldnt resist. I've seen various threads about the fitment and I was sure I could get it to fit fairly well with a few tweaks here and there. For now the the bonnet sits fairly well but once the weather gets a bit better I will play around and try to reduce the gaps further. All gaps sitting very even at the moment so I'm very happy with the quality.

Only down fall is the holes for the washer jets are too small so I'm going to have to file them out a little.

Enjoy

I also have the dme toe arms on my s2k, but found that at the bottom the castle nut was useless as it does not line up with the hole in the bolt so cant put a split pin through, looks like you have black spacer between the nut, im sure my spacer is at the top, did i put them on wrong?

or it might have been the top castle nut, but i know one nut sat too low on the bolt making the split pin useless

Took the plunge and finally got a front lip from Si at Hendy Performance. love how it transforms the front end.

I've also bought a drivers seat rail so I could try and fit my standard sized Corbeau club sport. The fit is very tight and is currently sitting up against the door a tad so will need some minor adjustment. I'm also not happy with the standard s2k seat belt receiver so i'm toying with the idea of using one from an ep3. Overall very happy with the seat and love how it holds you in while driving Stupidly forgot to take any pics of the seat install but can take some when I do the passenger side if anyone is interested.

Ordered myself a HKS exhaust now the weathers a little nicer and the car is starting to come out of the garage a bit more. I've been doing my research into different systems, both dual and single and I decided that I wanted to go for a single with the intention of getting a diffuser down the line to hide the fact the facelift bumper is moulded for dual. Firstly because I like the JDM look of a single exit and secondly because they tend to flow slightly better than the dual systems. I also wanted the system to have future potential if I go down the FI route in a year or two so The HKS Single being 75mm seems to meet what I want. From all the reviews I've read it is one of the quieter 75mm systems around, not saying any 75mm systems are quiet.

Cant wait to get it on and see what it sounds like, let the weekend begin.

Id also like to say a massive thanks to Si at Hendy performance, he gave me an unbelievable deal and also managed to get it shipped out last minute so I could have it before the bank holiday weekend. 5* stars to you my good man.

HKS SC Install now finished and prepped for my dive upto TDI North next week. I've decided to leave the SC belt off and let TDi install the ECU, Injectors, Plugs and do a few final checks before its put on the dyno for its map.

Totally happy with the quality of the kit and the install. was like a big lego kit, didn't run into any issues and went on quicker than i expected. Once its all up and running i would like to tidy up the bay with a few choice mods and maybe upgrade the radiator and install an oil cooler but that can wait to the new year, ive already broken the bank!

my little helper for the day
