Default Hardtop Query

Evening!

Quick question if you don't mind.

The matt black window trims that are attached to the hardtop. Are these replaceable? Can they be removed?

My my drivers side trim was chipped by the previous owner. I thought I'd have to have it repaired by a bodyshop but then if it's replaceable that would be the easier option.

If so does anyone know the part number?

Cheers.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is it #13?

Looks to me to be 7 or 12 depending on L or R. I would check the numbers with Si @ Hendy on here.

As mentioned, speak with Si from Hendy. Unfortunately its not a common part to replace, so wont find any third party ones or even second hand ones.
Repair might be the cheaper option.

Good luck.

I'm in exactly the same boat. My O/S trim has a big scratch on it. The replacement price is ludicrous, and why is there a £54 difference between left and right?!

Sand it down and spray it with a can of matt black? Can do it again if it gets bad...
