Default ROTA OWNERS

I'm planning to replace my OEM 17's with some 17" Rotas (probably Torques).I want them to fill up the arches a bit more than the OEM's do, especially the rears, but despite many searches, I'm still don't have a definitive decision on offset and width (I don't want anything too mad - no hellaflush stuff).

Could any Rota owners post up pictures of their wheels and say what width and offset they are?

All help gratefully accepted..........

Cheers,

Torgues arent really available in the s2000 fitment and you'll end up with 8J ones at the back.

Have a look at rota fighter drifts, they come in s2000 fitment now and look very good I think:

17x8 ET48 fronts and 17x9 ET50 rears.

I recently bought Rota Grid Drifts in 17x8.5 +30 on the front and 9"+25 on the rear. This is how they look.

I have changed ideas about wheels though. I am now doing a deal with Rare Rims to get Rota Fighter Drifts in 9" et 35 all around so I can run a 255/40/17 non staggered setup.

Also here is my old set up with Advans. They were 8" et35 front and 9" et38 rear. Anything around that will need a minor arch roll but isn't excessively hell flush. I drive my car extremely hard but I have messed up my rear arches rushing an arch roll!

Those would now be the Rota of choice IMO.

Good width sizes. I'd like to see front to rear profile shot of the car though, as those offsets seem a little aggressive?

I know it's only 1/2", but I wouldn't want to step down from OEM 8.5" rear, to 8"

I guess you can still get a 245 40 rear tyre on there, but will be less support for the tyre.

I've just ordered a set of 17" Rota Fighter Drifts. 8" ET48 front and 9" ET50 rear, I'll happily fire up a piccy when they arrive next week. I bought them from Rota online as that was the cheapest I could find them at £620 for the set.

Can't wait to get them now

I do like the Rota Fighters. But they're still a bit sticky-outy at the rear. I think for most Rotas your choices are going to be having the offset too low (+45 ish), or having the offset much too low (+35 ish). None of them actually come in S2000 fitment.
