Default Reliable? Yes :)

Just called the RAC:

"is that a car or a motorbike?"
"manual or automatic?"
"petrol or diesel?"

I tried my best not to laugh

Just shows how reliable our cars really are lovely day for a spot of sunbathing on the side of the road

Seized brake calliper for those that wish to know

Did they fix it at the roadside or did it have to go to hospital for an operation?

sorry to hear it. Happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I first noticed the caliper had seized when stopped at traffic lights on a hill and the car wasn't rolling backwards, drove a few hundred metres and car was stopping on its own. Managed to limp to the local garage but had to pay for a new caliper

Only pain in the arse is that I have only just painted the calipers as well! good job I haven't thrown the paint away

My one I had replaces a few weeks ago was silver like the ones I painted

On another note some guys just stopped, I thought they were going to see if I needed help but no.

"would you like to buy a brand new memory foam mattress?"

I of course said no and asked them if it was warm to which they replied...
"roasting"

Did they mean the weather?

What a pain! I ask becasue i've noticed that one of mine is slightly warmer than the others get. I'm surprised, as it's a daily driver, so never thought it would have the time to sieze.

It's in for it's MOT tomorrow, so hopefully they'll spot it if it is. The last time i took it in because of a squeaking at low speeds, the mechanic said it wasn't siezed, but was a little tighter than the other side.

How weird re: Memory foam mattress - I guess these salespersons all have targets to hit.
