Does anyone know how to by-pass these systems? If you could PM me that would be great (obviously for security reasons haha)

Have a read of this post, it might be of help: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela.../#post22003370

Any auto electrician/alarm place will be able to remove the alarm, but you'll need to notify your insurers that you have no alarm or immobiliser, which may or may not be interesting.

This thread has some very useful stuff i it, including photos: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...ire-up-835977/

So just a bit more info... I've just got my board and refurbished key fob (now with Honda cover rather than Porsche!) back from H&P yesterday. Superb service. Sent it to them on Tues 1st class and I received it back on Fri!
I'm a bit bemused by having to spend £144 on the reprogram as when I asked why it happened they didn't really know. My battery wasn't even completely flat... And I think they need to use a new courier as £15 + vat to send a small box weighing 100g is a bit rich!
Saying all that the service was superb as everyone says and I'm sure it will fix the problem.

When I spoke to Jim he also explained that there's another mod that needs doing before I fit it all back into the car. Currently one of the immobiliser wires is a fuel cut off. On my 99 AP1 the immobiliser wires bisect a wire coming out of the fuel cut off switch. Because the fuel pump takes a high current which is now diverted through the immobiliser board it will eventually burn the board out. Jim noticed that this had started to happen on my board. The fix is to move the immobiliser wires from the fuel cut off switch to a wire between the PGM-F1 relay and the ECM. Details can be got from H&P.

Just need to track down which relay under the dash is the PGM-F1 relay! Which is the fuel relay apparently...

I've had the same issues with mine. No green light on dash. H&P alarm doesn't like cold weather or low battery. Managed to bypass it to get me home. There's two wires cut into on the keyless control box next to bonnet/hood release. Mine was yellow and orange wires from alarm. I just cut the 2 yellows and joined them then did the same with the orange. Didn't know which one was the immobiliser just did the 2 while I was under there. I disconnected the battery before I did it. Got me home then just ripped it out which is easy then you have the fun of smashing it up with a big hammer
