Default Immobiliser issues

Just moving this to the UK thread to see if we can get any help!

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-el...ssues-1167644/

Exactly the same problem for 2 of us. Immobiliser is on but we can't switch it off with the fob as it's lost it's contact with the car. And we cant reprogram it because the alarm/immobiliser is on.!!!

Any tips?

Both of us have early cars with the H&P alarm system.

Help!

Tony

I emailed H&P and they confirmed it was my alarm board which needed recoded to the fobs. Had to remove the alarm board (under drivers seat) and send that with the fobs to H&P.

Turnaround was under a week and they refurbished my fobs in the price - £144 iirc.

The alarm will be going mad although pull the battery and it'll help..
