Default My 3rd S2000 - lots of planned improvements.

I recently bought my 3rd S2000 as a friend (forum member) was selling it and i have always wanted a facelift S2000 after selling my 04MY S2000 in 2012. The black pre facelift S2000 which i owned since April last year was sold to a chap in Germany who picked it up on Saturday.

This is my current S2000, its wrapped and is Silverstone underneath.

Its an 04MY with 64k miles on the clock and has red and black interior.

Plans for it are as follows:

New roof - i have recently picked up a genuine Honda roof brand new for £300.
Heated seats
Koni dampers and eibach springs from my previous S2000 although i am semi-tempted on going back to standard springs
AD08r tyres
Geo Set Up
Head light polish
4 Piece mats from my previous S2000
UK exhaust modification

I am going to keep this one fairly standard and although it will be a bit of a garage queen only coming out in the dry i will use it for sprint days and track days.

Currently on the hunt for a set of 5 spoke 08-09MY wheels but they are like hens teeth!

Me likey, cracking colour and a good solid plan for it as well. Looks far better without the 5 spoke wheels though, never been a big fan of them but hey, that's just me

Looking good! I have been looking at your black S but the milage was a bit high for me. Looked great though.
I'll be keeping an eye out for this one if you decide to sell when you've finished your plans

I wasn't planning on selling the black one but i have always missed my 04MY S2000 with the red and black interior and when this one came up for sale for a good price i knew i had to have it. At one point it was great having 2 S2000's in the garage!

Mileage was high on the car but it was a very strong engine performance wise and the bodywork and the rest of the car was in excellent condition, the new owner is planning on carrying out an engine rebuild.

As above, high mileage isn't always an issue. Looks like a nice find that Robin and no doubt it will be treated well

Good buy Robin,,,,you'll have to sell some of your JDM wheel collection before you start stock piling the 5 spoke's
