I will be fitting the kit once I have done the roof so I will take some pictures as I go along.
Thanks, I was thinking of going for one of these as the two button solution does not look like it will fit well on the face-lift centre console. I'm thinking put the control on the back face of the central 'cup holder'. You'd have to slide the cover back to use the controls, but they'd be completely hidden when it was closed.

Good work on the hood, the OEM item was a find - I think I'd have lived with the wear for now.

Finished off the roof (seals etc) and put the interior back together.

Yeah i am lucky getting an OEM hood for £300 delivered, i thought it was too good to not give it a go.

I would say if i were to do the job again it would be a 5-6hr job now i know where all the fixings and clips are etc but certainly wouldn't want to do it again as its given me epic back ache

Whilst putting the interior back in i put in all the wiring for the heated seats and headrest speakers which is tomorrows job!

Love the heated seats! What did you use for the power source for these? Is it plug and play from somewhere, or does it involve splicing the loom? Does it have it's own fuse?

You can splice into the cigarette lighter as that is on the ignition circuit. I ran a cable from the ignition aux socket under the drivers side dash to the rear. Now just to do the seats! Best mod I think I did!

I claim my 'spot the difference' prize - the top one has the Skunk 'closing square bracket' accessory! What's my prize?
