It's a different engine to the one in your CTR, but the characteristics are similar.

The engine is very tractable, don't let the engine torque figure mislead you, you need to take gearing into account as well. It'll pull perfectly well from 30mph in 5th or 40mph in 6th. Both about 2krpm.

RWD and LSD seem important to you.

The S2000 LSD is a torsen diff rather than a true LSD. It is not a tail happy drift machine if that's what you're aiming for.

I'm not into drifting, I want to avoid spinning one wheel in a tight turn.

Completely agree. When people talk about the lack of low down power they make it sound like a Smart car. Below VTEC the car pulls like you would expect a normal 2l engine in a fairly light weight car to pull. If you're in traffic then you don't need more pace than 4th and 5th gear give and if the roads clear then being in the right gear is what makes it fun.

It lays it's traction down well, you just have to be careful if a wheel is able to leave the ground.

Well, I'm going to go check one out at a nearby Honda dealer. It's a 07 with <40k miles on the clock. Can't wait to drive it, love new toys

I've said to myself, no more cars older than 5 years. My 20 year old Toyotas taught me a lesson. Though they never failed me such that I had to call a tow truck, there was always "something to fiddle with and repair". Don't have time for that and I must say that the CTR I have now has been flawless. Just fuel up and go. That's what I want. Things wear overtime and I don't mean engines, clutches or brakes; the little annoying things, making a squeak here and a weird noise there.
