Plymouth Area Geo

I've been warned off Pro Tyre. Probably ok to check alignment, but not I'm not so confident that they can do the adjustment especially if there's any problem with seized bolts etc.
I was hoping someone in the area had had a good experience somewhere(!!!), and could offer a recommendation.

I'm in Leigham
Oddly in a similar position with the Elise.
Been back here a couple of years so learning who's who all over.
FCM in Bristol had a good rep but its hardly local.
I'm seeing and hearing the same mixed reviews from the Pro Tyre franchise too.
When I was over in Saltash chatting to Adrian Crawford (Williams Crawford) he had a convincing pitch for his brand new gear in the Porsche indy.
Now, these guys are a top notch outfit, so I'm thinking of having a chat about price with them shortly.
Porsche Servicing – Williams Crawford
Having done business with Adrian (and Rob Lanes boys do their body shop and restoration work at Pristine Bodyworks) its the only place I would trust anything 'nice' with.
Great guys to deal with.

Thanks Steve.
Went over to Williams Crawford today. Very impressed with their workshop and general manner.
They're quite happy to check alignment and then adjust if necessary. Very reasonable price.
As soon as the weather improves and I get the cover off the car I'll book it in and let you know the result.

I have been to Pro Tyre and had my alignment done twice there, I'm not impressed with the way they work and wouldn't go back again. I have also been to ETB just over Laira bridge opposite the junction for Chelson Meadow and the guy who did it didn't fill me with confidence. I had renewed several bushes and bolts on all four lower arms so everything was out of alignment and the print out showed everything had been set to where it should be and it was a reasonable price. If there wasn't any other options I would go back there but I would be interested to see how you get on in Saltash at Williams Crawford
