Does anyone know where i can buy a plate that screws in behind the door on the radio screws that will hold three gauges?
I dont have the tools to be able to cut and make my own so would prefer to buy one. If anyone has measurements for it that would be mega

Finally got the radio.
Car Audio where terrible so dont buy from them...
Got the radio from halfords in the end in the 15% sale. The mvh-380bt is now end of life but the new mvh-390bt has taken its place, same size but more features.
i put the full size radio alongside and with the gauges in front of the new one its about the same length give or take a few mm so it should be a nice fit.

Will take pics when done

Probably not going to find something of-the shelf, so would need to be a custom job.
I would recommend drawing something up and having it laser cut and bolt in. Cant imagine it would cost much.
Couple of minutes to create the 2D CAD file and job done.
(I had some Letters laser cut recently to make carnival lettering for a friends wedding, and they were only £15 each, with the letters being 1M tall and 0.6M wide).

wow just realised I never updated this thread!
Long story short the radio didnt fit behind the gauges so when i road tripped it to Le Mans i put the radio in the passenger foot well net and pulled the wires through for it to work. It was ok but not ideal and has now been taken out again.
I am still unsure as to what to do as it would be nice to have a radio in the car for those long journeys.
Was looking at my raspberry pi the other day thinking I could put a amp HAT on it and use that to play music as would be really easy to hide.

I just need to grow a pair and dive in to one option or the other!

I still think my advice about the small amplifier (fitted under the dash) with a line input connected to a phone/bluetooth/tablet is the simplest way to do it.

I know you are right but I would like to keep the radio function without having to rely on data if that makes sense.

It does - if you want to, you can connect any portable radio to the amp. This would work:

See also the "Customers also viewed" options.

another option would be a Pure "Highway" https://store.pure.com/en-GB/c/highw...eu/uk/p/150406

Do you think this AMP will do the trick?

I am sure the car can run it if I rewire the connector.

I looks like it might, although it uses a 19V power supply - not sure if that would be a problem, my eletrix skillz are insufficient
