S2000 Insurance
Any recommendations for insurance, the company I am with at the moment have been taken over and the new B,***8ds have upped my premium 25% + for the same policy with no changes.
Thanks in advance

You haven't exactly given any material information, like location, occupation, age, NCB, points etc., without that no one could possibly advise you. I paid £156 last time round, buy I'm not an 18yo with points living in Walthamstow.

I'm over 60,3yrs NCB (10+years on a commercial which doesn't count),no points, living in a village in Kent the latest premium is £320 + about a £600 excess and £75 breakdown cover if I want it .I'm after an insurance company that's fair and got good reviews.
Thanks

I'm with Churchill, similar age, decent rated postcode, sub £200 premium. Think the excess is £300.

USAA all day! Have Been with them for 12 years and two different S2K's. Amazing customer service and great benefits. Pretty sure you don't need to be ex-military to use them for insurance either, its open to the public.

I think it's the three year NCB that's getting you, I have nine.

Might be an issue getting hold of that one as this is a UK thread!

I've gone for an agreed value policy this year with Adrian Flux. Around £320 for the insurance, £30 for the agreed value and £300 excess. I'm 31 with 6yrs no claims.

I must live in a much rougher area than I thought! I'm looking at about £500 renewal with admiral and I'm 30 with 10 years ncb to use for the S2000 Think Business Use kills me though - don't actually use it for Business really but part of the criteria for my car allowance is that I need to have it.
