I must admit I removed that useless spare wheel ages ago. I can't think of an occasion when I would actual fit it to my car and drive with it.

Mike, no introductions needed. Your reputation precedes you.

As for spare wheel, mine came out when I fitted new brakes. No way is the "Space Saver" fitting over my rather chunky callipers.
Did have to use it once shortly after buying the car. Puncture on rear...what a pain that was to swap front to rear and space saver on front.
Remove the wheel and make sure you have renewed your AA Cover.

I'd like to get four space savers and chuck them on, just for a giggle. And possibly a huge accident.

I have extended studs already fitted and a selection of spacers, so it's no problem for me
