How comes john? You just use a spanner to push the tensioner over and fit the belt. Probably the easiest belt i have ever changed on a car. Literally a 5 minute job

Got to agree that was a piece of cake compared to some off the other bits! Like getting the crank pulley off!!

mine, even though i had the tensioner relaxed as far as possible the bastard wouldn't slip on ha... took me about 45 minutes of messing to get it on.

Going to fit the new 1318 in a few minutes and see how that goes, may have to call my mate over to help with the tightening of the tensioner.

I had the same problem on the race car, we just vented it directly into engine bay and did away with recirculater hose. Problem solved.

Would have hoped for some official feedback from HKS by now.
I know they have requested details from everyone with the problem, but I know of both Har-vey and myself who installed the kit pretty standard with recommended components (Injectors, fuel pump etc..). HKS have already confirmed the noise is excessive on Steve's car, and knowing it was a "Stock" installation with no deviation, using different BOV etc... surely they can give some feedback.

Hope HKS are not just looking for a way to blame us on some wrong installation or something "we" did wrong.
I assume most people had the system checked over by the mapper before they started mapping the system. So should not really have anything wrong with the install itself.

Si has my belt photo and measurements regarding wrong belts.
Chris looked over my setup and said it was perfect apart from a tatty looking breather pipe that was the original bit that went to inlet manifold so swapped it out.

Fingers crossed they will come back and send replacement BOV's, I'm 90% sure its just a sticky diaphram.
