Vibration whilst driving
Hi guys,
just picked up my S2000, absolutely delighted with it. However on the way home the motorway I felt some nasty vibration through accelerator pedal, clutch pedal, seats and slightly through steering wheel. I pulled over hard shoulder for 5 minutes then pulled away and crawled home doing 65mph and the vibration never came back. Does anyone know what this issue might be?
The car is a 55 plate with 60k miles.
Thanks

Read it before...if it does it again check to see if one wheel is hot!??
Or simpler wheel imbalance that manifests above 70mph?

Wheel balance will occur at and above a specific speed.
If it's the driveshafts it will occur under heavy engine load i.e. you could be doing 60 but no throttle and it's fine, but put your foot down and it will vibrate.

Thanks for the replies guys! Really appreciate it, it happens mainly when I let off from high speeds. E.g. 100+ then let off and gradually decreasing speed without braking I feel the vibrations.
