big big thanks to Rob at garage r !
Attended our first Yorkshire meet today, drove all the way from Manchester to Barnsley with the roof down and a light smell of oil
being a responsible S owner I topped the oil up the day before ready for the journey but spilled a bit on the rocker cover and I thought the smell was the oil burning off,
on arrival at garage r got introduced to everyone and JD suggested I let rob look at my engine as it sounded a bit 'tappy' opened the bonnet and to my horror discovered that the oil filler cap was missing! and oil was all over the back of the engine!
thankfully the oil did not drop to low and Rob very very kindly supplied us with a new filler cap and oil and we carried on with the day.
I would recommend Garage R to anyone the are very friendly and frankly saved our hondas life.
P.S had a great day, thanks everyone

I've had exactly the same happen to me and think it happened Friday but thankfully haven't done a lot of driving since!
I found my filler cap lodged down the back of the block between the bulkhead and some pipe work...oil level was fine though and I'm glad I didnt lose my oil cap seeing as its a Mugen one!
Yet another positive thread for GarageR in a matter of days, glad you got it sorted

Nice to have met you both and very very lucky that JD mentioned it otherwise we would have made it to Thoresby and we would have seen JD fail miserably in the competition we forced him to enter
