Default Where have others mounted a rear Dashcam?

Following another incident , I've decided to fit a camera in the s2000, but I want both front and rear covered. However, I can't decide on the best location for the rear camera, and wonder where others have mounted theirs.
Attaching to the soft-top's glass creates anxiety over possible breakage (screen or camera) when the soft-top is down, and it would be a pain having to remove the camera every time. The rear glass also seems to be constantly moving - thanks to the rubbish state of our 'third-world' British roads.
Mounting at the wind deflector, seems to be too low to give a meaningful view out the back window, unless it was on a pillar - which would look rather ridiculous.

I saw an MX5 with a rear camera strapped to the roll hoop. That might work with the S2000. It didn't look great, but if you find a way of making it look more integrated it could be good. Also, sorry to hear of your incident

How do you intend to use your rear camera, is this something you would use while reversing your car, or do want to use it while driving on road as your rearview mirror?

I think it's for any incidents that may happen. It's nice to have proof that it's the other person's fault. If it's your own fault, then you weren't recording...

That is interesting. Do a lot of people in the UK use recording setups to serve as a proof for accident arbitration?
