Well i drove mine in the couple of days of snow we've had this month with summer tyres on and its been absolutely fine to drive in fact it drives better in the snow then rain. I think once we get freezing icy road conditions i'll be leaving the S2000 at home though.

No responses in the tyre thread so thought I'd try here since its specifically about winter tyres.

I'm wanting to get some winter tyres for my stock 17" wheels. Having looked at reviews and which manufacturer has the closest sizes to stock, I think Nokian WR D4 is the best bet.

Now the standard tyres for 17" wheels are 215/45 front and 245/40 rear. The closest match I can find for the Nokians are 215/55 front and 235/50 rear. Question is will this cause any problems being that the side walls are taller. They also have 225/45 for the fronts which are more similar. I'm not sure which is more of a problem, slightly too wide or slightly too tall. I'm not as bothered that the rear tyres are a little bit too narrow.

What are your thoughts?
