Many thanks for your help so far, but I feel the Invidia Q300 and Js Racing 70rs single would be a tad too loud for UK track day sound regs. If I go decat they would get even louder. Though they are both great exhausts, especially like the Js Racing
As far as I can tell, the only quiet ones would be (dual exhausts) : Fujitsubo LegaliseR, Tanabe Medalion Touring, Miltek....... and I cant think of any more!

Tanabe Medalion Touring measures 94 dBA. I personally confirmed it on my car with a certified meter.
94dBA is still louder than the OEM system. I'd not want 98dBA which is MUCH louder -- like twice as loud. The scale is logarithmic, not linear. In a (US) industrial setting a worker is allowed two (2) hours of exposure at 94dBA without hearing protection but only (1) hour at 97dBA. 3 dBA makes that much difference. Noise level is measured about 2 feet from the exhaust tips and diminishes as that distance increases but 98dBA is still loud in the driver's seat. (There's a protocol I don't have time to link.)
The Invidia Q300 measured in excess of 105dBA on my car. Stupid loud.

Thanks for that interesting bit of information, I didn't realise db were not linear. Definitely need to try and stick to under 95db, probably only going to be Tanabe Medalion or Fujitsubo LegaliseR within budget.
