Damn, I'm a pretty good friend of Charlie's and he told me he was selling it. Didn't realized it'd go so soon. He's had that car forever! A little sad to see it go, but it had to be. Take good care of it! That's my soft top on that car btw. Lol

I didn't think I was going to buy it that quickly either but after the first test drive... I needed it. Thanks for the soft top vboy! I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so I can do a conditioning/protection treatment. I'll take good care of the car. I promised Charlie she was going to a person that loved her.

Lol, yea that test drive affect happens to all of us. The S2k drives like no other car, at least in this price range. I instantly knew I had to have one after test driving my first one. Yea, the original soft top on the car was pretty haggard, so I hooked him up when I decided to delete mine off the car. Anyway, Congrats on the purchase and welcome! Any plans on modding it?

I've got an old 01 Civic sedan. Auto, silver, rough interior and exterior, but runs like a champ. Lol , I try and drive the S as often as possible though. So long as there is no snow or rain on the ground, the S is out.

I'm not entirely sure what I'd do mod wise. I think I might eventually change back to a slightly quieter exhaust and I would love it if it had a dual exhaust.

Eventually I'd love a red/black interior but for now the black is beautiful too. I think I'll re wrap my steering wheel pretty soon.

I should add that sewing is how I pay for my car so the interior work is what I'm most comfortable with doing myself.

The s2k will be my main car but I have a land cruiser for bad weather/cargo capacity.

Would you do the wrapping of the steering wheel yourself? If so let us know how it goes. I've been looking at having mine rewrapped, but don't know of any local folks that could handle the sewing part properly.

if you re-wrap the steering wheel let me know. i've been thinking about having mine re-done in suede. that or an aftermarket one.

i think the quietest dual exhaust next to the stock one is possibly the dual hks exhaust. it's around 900$ i think. what exhaust are you running right now?

I would do the sewing myself. I will totally report back when it gets done. It will probably be a couple months from now when my school semester is over.

If I'm completely honest I'm not sure exactly what the exhaust is right now. I know it is a single exhaust and there is a really small band of power that is just a little bit louder than I would like it to be. It is a longer term project though.

If I'm not mistaken Charlie recently installed the HKS 75mm single exhaust on there. It's nearly brand new. In regard to dual exhausts I'd recommend the Greddy SE dual. Nice clean sound that's not too loud. Plus it has a real solid OEM-like look to it. No big canisters.
