Default Changed Diff and tranny fluid

Makes a world of difference. My lever was getting notchy so i got some Honda MTF3, changed out the tranny fluid. While i was at it, got the Diff fluid changed as well to Motul 75w90. And OMG the diff fluid smells BAD. A few things i found interesting on the subject. I had metal shavings on the diff drain bolt. There was 2mm of sludge on the stock magnetic drain bolt. I bought the T1R bolt and the Spoon Set. Looks like quality parts. So enough of the random thoughts, point is change your fluids guys makes a world of difference

I am going in for oil, transmission and diff. fluid change as well on monday. I will be using all Motul fluids and getting all the magnetic drain bolts as well. I was not sure of the magnetic bolts but since you mentioned you had some metal shavings . It does sound like a good idea.

what's the regular maintance interval for tranny and diff fluid?
i just change my tranny fluid every 20000km - done it twice
and diff fluid every 10000km - done it 4 times
i also found metal shavings on diff bolt magnet every time i opend it.
where did get the t1r diff bolt and spoon set and how much?

Is the stock diff bolt magnetic? OTL, you can get T1R and Spoon stuff from A&J racing. I bought all the fluids already too, but I've been too lazy to change it. Hopefully I'll get around to it next week.

K guys, i got everything from AJ-Racing. The stock diff bolt is magnetic. Interval for manual transmission fluid change is supposedly every 60,000 but i would do it every 20,000 or less depending on what season. IE summer i would change it more just cause i'm more aggressive. The Spoon bolt set that chowbot and a few other of us have bought contain two bolts. One tranny and one engine oil. The diff fluid is every 90,000 in honda books i believe...but s2000s have shitty ass pumpkins so i'd probably change it every time i change tranny fluid as well. Motul gear fluids are better than the previous stock stuff i had in the car before though, car is quieter, and maybe a placebo effect but my butt dyno says that its smoother and just got a lil bit more pick up.
