Default Soft top replacement heated glass

I have a 01 and I'm replacing my top the Gahh stayfast heated glass. Can I connect the heated glass to the hard top's heated glass harness (assuming there is one)?

2001 doesn't have a hardtop defroster switch pre-installed. It was probably a switch and harness kit that had to be purchased separately for a lot of money. I also bet it's a discontinued accessory now.

You're probably best off to just skip the defroster. The glass window is already a huge upgrade.
