Thanks man. Yeah the trans rebuild was a lot easier than I thought. While I still needed help for it being the first time I've been through any transmission, it wasn't as complex as I imagined it.
I'll ask him Dave, but I doubt he is. I believe he has to give up his license. I'm thinking about joining in on it though!
I won't be able to make it out tomorrow either but I will soon.

Sounds good Sean. Let me know as it is less than a month away..., say Hi to Matt for me will ya. I see him from time to time on the road and usually wave. When Chris from 5252 was working out of that shop I had dropped down a few times.

Howard I will be there around 7 and usually hang till about 8:30. Are you confirming your attendance?

Been driving great with the rebuilt transmission!
Got bored today so I thought I'd start building some stuff I'd seen in my browsing.

Cut some plastic to install in the seats headrests to cut down on a bit of the wind in the cabin.
Installed. Can't even tell they are there.
They work fairly well for spending $8.00 haha, but I decided I'd tackle making my own light up wind deflector. Only got started on it but I made a template for the "window" portion and then had to head out for the day.

Don't use Blue LED's ..., I have one and they are not legal. I am changing it to RED. A company called WindRestrictor makes them...,

We will have some as raffle items at the Poker Run.

Glanford Auto Service is close to me - I've seen the car there with the tranny out.

Have you checked your intake valve retainers? They can be ticking time bombs...

Yeah, they were upgraded by the PO or the guy before.
I'll be taking the valve cover off to do a valve adjustment so I'll peep those too.
Engine has beautiful compression pattern and with the new trans/clutch etc I'm hoping to have no more major problems.

Today I finally got a chance to get under the dash and clean up all the mess from the stereo/alarm install. All I can say it, wow...
Going to pull it in and do the alignment tomorrow.
Will be moving back to Victoria at the end of the month so I'm hoping she behaves until after that haha.
