Recommendation for Windshield Shop - Victoria
Hey Guys,
I am looking to replace the windshield in the S2000 as it has lots of tiny pits in it. I will be going through insurance to get this done and am wondering if there are any local shops that do a good job and will cover some or all of one's deductible costs for replacement. I'm pretty sure I recall seeing that being fairly common practice in the glass industry - if I am way offbase please just recommend a good place to go.
I am very likely going to be putting the S2k up for sale very soon but want to replace the windshield first as it hasn't been replaced since I've owned it (7-8 years.

Are you the guy with the black AP1 with hardtop that works at Glanford Auto? I work just up the street on Glanford and Enterprise

Nice! I see your car every weekday. I've thought about coming by there one day to ask where you got the hardtop (Rockstar Garage?) and what you think of it. I was thinking of getting a Mugen style for my car too - well at least until I decided to put it up for sale.
I'm at Island Mediquip, right on the corner beside the Bird of Paradise, but I almost never drive the S2000 in to work. Instead I regularly drive an old Forester that likes to leak oil everywhere.

Oh yeah, I know where you're at. We've worked on a couple of your vans.
Got the hardtop from Forbidden-USA.
Stop in anytime. I'm there Mon-Fri 7:30-3:30 and sometimes on weekends when I'm feeling motivated haha

Remember the glass hardness when replacing your windshield , OEM has a much stronger glass than most jobbers thats why they pit and dont star break . Get OEM it may save you in a rollover.
