I'm considering picking up a set of Enkei PF01 wheels for my 2007 S2000. I'm currently running stock suspension and don't plan on lowering the car anytime soon. The PF01's I'm considering are:

-17x8 +50
-17x9 +60

I've been doing some reading and just wanted to confirm a few things before I pulled the trigger:

-Would you guys recommend sticking with OEM tire sizes (215/45 & 245/40- they're also Tire Rack's recommendations for these wheels)? Or something more along the lines of a 225/45 & 255/40 combo?
-Would a 225/45 & 255/40 combo rub on stock suspension? The car will see a handful of HPDE and autoX events a year, running a "UK spec" alignment (camber: -1 F & -2 R).
-From what I understand, the 17x8 +50 front wheels should clear most of the aftermarket Big Brake Kits. Is that correct? A BBK might be added at some point down the line.
-If I lowered the car at some point down the line, at what point (height wise) would the fenders need to be modified/rolled?

Anything else I should know before picking these up?

I'd go 225/45-17 and 255/40-17. FWIW Tire Rack always recommends OEM size. But IMO 225 is a better fit on 8" and 255 is a better fit on 9" unless you want a little stretch. Performancewise, my money's on the wider setup.

I have 17x8.5 +40 PF01s on the front of my FD and they clear my StopTech ST40 with 328mm rotors by a mile. Can't guarantee your fitment but these wheels generally have a ton of clearance for big brakes.

^^they look good, are your fenders rolled at all? Do you get any rubbing up front? I was planning on purchasing a set to autox on but I dont want to rub the fenders since im lowered about an 1.25inches.

Fenders are not rolled. I see no signs of rubbing and the liners are still installed and in good shape. I think it's lowered a little, running Tanabe NF210 springs. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the feedback! Looks like this is the route I'll be taking, with 225/255 tires.

Just to be clear, if I go with the Enkei PF01, 17x7 +48 offset 225/45/17 in front, 17x9 +63 offset 255/40/17 in back, stock everything else.

I could also go 17x8 up front +50, same tires.

I wont have any issues with rubbing or having to roll fenders?

Go 17x8 for 225/45-17. Shouldn't have any clearance issues. Might dial in max front camber, which is a good idea anyway for handling.

Especially at stock height you'll be fine.

Carbon if you are lowered and doing autox keep an eye on the fronts for signs of rubbing. Hard cornering at speed can cause rubbing in the front due to the wheels turning and suspension compressing.
