I will certainly do it one year but I am planning the Mont Tremblant trip though the mountains in Quebec this year. I have met a great member from there that has done the trip for years and said it can't be missed. Also mentioned that they had around 50 S2K's at last year's event with a few NSX's. Not too bad for Canada!
Hmmmm, that sounds like a pretty good trip too, I have a friend in the region worth visiting. Is there a link to that meet anywhere ?

Here is last years planned trip link Club S2000 Quebec • Afficher le sujet - RIDE ANNUELLE MONT TREMBLANT 1er Oct 2016.

It is mostly in French though, they will start the planning this summer by the looks of it.

Thanks for the link buddy. I'll will definitely have a look at that. I never knew we had such an event in Canada besides the rally on the east coast.

my cost through one of my tire distributors is 190$ a tire. Seems pretty crazy as the re71r for a 2554017 is a lot cheaper lol

^ it must be the size of the tire that causes the price to go higher as there aren't too many manufacturers with that size of tire, I can't get RE71's in that size or Star specs as they would be good choices, but I've been happy with my RE-11's up front, and I like having asymmetric treads that can be rotated side to side. My rear passenger tire seems to wear a bit quicker on my car, so being able to rotate them is a plus.

perhaps a alignment is needed. Are you on stock suspension? Next time you take it in for alignment ask them if you can sit in the car when the readings are displayed to see if there's a drastic change when you get in the car. If so, have them align it with you in the car and a full tank if gas

My alignment settings are pretty spot on, I do it once a year, but I don't do it with me in the car, good idea as I typically drive my car alone. Passenger rear tire wear is something I've heard about from different owners, it has to do with the way that the LSD operates and perhaps related to how the weight of the driver affects alignment. The wear difference isn't huge, but it is noticeable, something I've had on every set of tires I've had on the car.

The 245-45-16 is a perfectly acceptable size for the rear. Heck, when I autocrossed in stock class, I ran them on the front too!

I ended up getting these tires, looks like they are good fit, I like the look. I can't wait to try them out on the road this year.
