I just pulled the trigger on the Rs4's.

Im getting my Alignment, corner balance, and tires mounted on Saturday.

I'll be headed to the dragon at the end of April and will have a lot of feedback on them out there.

I will be comparing them to my old RE's. I'm assuming they are going to be great, we will see!

Did the same and pulled the trigger on the RS4s. I'm interested in seeing how these perform. 225/45/17 and 255/40/17. But mine did come with the XL rating

All that means is extra load where the max psi is higher. I think it's 41 psi or something. It also means the sidewalls are stiffer than other standard tires.

These tires sidewalls are really stiff. Way stiffer than the RE's.

I cant wait to take the car for a spin tomorrow morning!

Well if true, that would be a 180 departure from the RS3, which was know to be the flimsiest sidewall of the extreme summer line up.

I took the S2 out for some light spirited driving with a new alignment and new Hankook RS4 's.

i wasn't able to beat them up a whole lot, but they felt very predictable and even when they were somewhat cold, I tried to break loose the rear like I used to do with the RE's and it wasn't happening.

I'm going out on a limb and will say they will be comparable to the RE's concerning grip and they might be more consistent over the RE's after a 20 min session.

Concerning the side wall, the RS4 does seem stiffer than the RE when I bent both of them off the rim.

I'll report back in a week or two and update my thoughts.

Lastly, I was running 28 psi cold, felt better than 32 psi cold when leaving the shop yesterday.
