mileage warranties are typically halved if you can't rotate front to rear.

Even then...it should get close to 30K if its anything like/better than the MPSS.

^last time I went tire shopping they were more expensive than the popular extreme performance summers. I think I paid closer to $700 for my set; not a huge amount of money on something so important but cheaper options are always nice.

EDIT: I'm running 245 squared

Yeah. I didn't realize that since I didn't watch the video in your post. My bad.

The only two tires that are comparable being introduced in spring 2017 are the Continental ExtremeContact Sport and the Michelin Pilot 4S. Conti's should be cheaper but I'm not sure which will offer a stiffer sidewall which does has a big impact on steering in the S. To me steering impact is an important aspect of this category of tire along with the grip on various road conditions. Both thread patterns look good though.

I'm not particularly saying 17 is dead, I'm just saying the pickings will get thinner and thinner as time goes on. The PSS didn't even come in a 255/40/17...

Really it is just the 14" and 15" that are dead. The 17" will be around as there are new cars still using the size. If I can help with anything let me know.
