BMW wheels and 18" MPSS on my new S2000?
Sorry for asking a likely dumb question.
I'm picking up my S2000 tomorrow. Its on stock AP1 wheels and all season tires which need replacement. I have a BMW 135i with two sets of wheels and three sets of tires. The S2000 will be my main car. The BWM will be relegated to its designated purpose of child hauling and Costco runs.
Currently the BMW is on snow tires with cheap aftermarket wheels. I also have a set of all season run flats. The factory wheels have 18" Michelin Pilot Super Sports (front 215/40ZR-18, rear 245/35ZR-18). I'm thinking of putting the BMW wheels with MPSS on the S2000. For Spring on the BMW I would put the all seasons on the cheap wheels.
Are the 18s going to rub? too big? Is this a dumb idea?
Thanks in advance.

Not dumb but probably impossible.

245/35-18 in itself will not rub, it all depends on the wheel's offset.
With that said, I too believe you will have an issue with bolt pattern.
BMW usually is 5x120, while the S is 5x114,3

The bolt pattern for BMW is 5x120. what might help is that the 1 series wheels have a very high offset which when switched to 5x114.3 will help the conversion. i dont know more past that.
