what are your wheel and tire parameters ? 17x9 for all 4 wheels? As I remember SBC color Doesn't have 17x7.5.
He specifically mentioned 8" front, so they are 8"/9" +45. You should be able to clearly see the difference in wheel face between front and rear.
Yea, thanks for the clarification. I can see the wheel face difference.

Thanks for the confirm. so you are doing 225/255 now I assume. Why not 17x9 for both front and rear?

yes. 225/255. I originally didn't want to do a roll in the front, so I stuck to staggered. But once I was lowered and need to do the rear roll, I figured let's just get front rolled as well. Wasn't going to cost much more.

But to be honest, I'm still not sure there is room for 17x9s up front with the current roll. You might want to do a search and ask other folks that have gone "square" and see how much they had to pull the front. For mine, I literally had the extra metal folded in and not pulled.

I'm running Rpf1's 17X9 +45, with 255 square setup. I pulled the snot out of the front fenders, and pretty much changed the shape of the fenders to avoid rubbing. Also required quite a bit of trimming of the fender liner

will 225 tires on 17x9 be too stretched ? I might buy 17x9 but put 225 in front to avoid woo much fender work.

Depends on the tire manufacture, but generally it will be stretched but not too stretched. Id run it if it saves the fenders. Will handle sharp.
