I've been looking all around and cant see to find much on my issue. I got an S2000 that was previously owned by a Sup Bruh Stretch is lyfe..Check out my 18x9.5 rims wrapped with some 215/40/18 kid and im trying to bring it back to a flush look. I have a set of 255/35/18 that I want to throw on the rear and buy a set of either 225/40/18, or 225/35/18. Does anyone have a setup like that? Will the thickness of the tires even be noticeable? The fronts are 18x8.5.

What are the offset of the wheels? They're likely stretched for a reason, putting wider tires on may just destroy your fenders.

Im on coilovers I plan on raising the car up to fit them the front is 30 and the rear is 35

Why don't you just get new wheels? Car is going to look super weird on those wheels/tires with a high height.

No one is interested in trading and I dont have the extra money to buy new wheels and tires.

This guy was able to fit 255 im just wondering if I should run a 225/40 in front or a 225/35 if in running a 255/35 in the rear

Forgot to add he has an offset of 38 in the rear

225/40 would be the correct front tire size to match the 255/35 rear diameter. As mentioned, you can make it work but will require some effort. A compromise that might be worth considering is 215/40 front, 245/35 rear.

yea but I have a set of 255 for the rear so I'll only have to buy 225 for the front. Anyone have a pic of 225/40 in the front and a 255/35 on the rear. I just want to see if it will look funny.

The front tire size should be a 225/40R18 not a 225/35R18. The 225/40R18 retains the same height as your rear tire and will keep the car balanced and the anti lock brakes working correctly.
