I'm with Alex on this. The one with your friend's daughter in it is 'ok.' The singers voice is AMAZING, but I don't like the music. The drums/drum machine is just not at all my taste. It's a weird sound and a VERY weird rhythm.

The other one is just not my style.

I chuckled.

Well, I just spent the down payment on a pretty nice car. (sadly though, not on a car. ) However, my vaca is booked, bought and paid for. And I ordered the remainder of the camera gear I'm going to need for the trip. Planning to dive in a pool this weekend to practice and work on a few skills I'm going to need. Also, I should (hopefully) have all my camera gear with me, which will be a good test.

BTW -- Amazon jacked the price of the camera housing by $150 since yesterday. fortunately, I was able to find it for the same price (original price) from another site, but had to pay shipping.

Bastids!

maaaannnnnnnnnn. 8 inches yesterday... shoveled 4 times to make it a little easier each time, still feeling it in my back/shoulders/legs and i haven't tackled the walk to the garage/garbage dumpsters yet (i gave up parking in the garage months ago, the alley is just one giant sheet of ice). so fcuking sick of this. hope ya'll are safe.

rant of the day: we have alternate side parking from Dec 1-Feb 28 every year, meaning we are only allowed to park on the side of the street for which the addresses correspond to the date (even days, even side of the street; odd days, odd side of the street, so that plows can come by and clear an entire half of the road overnight. Some bastard parked on the wrong side of the street, RIGHT in front of my house, overnight, so that the plow couldn't clear any of the space in front of my house. So, goodbye parking spots for the rest of this god-foresaken winter. i'm sure they'll get a parking ticket, but man that just doesn't seem like enough.

No worries on the tunes, i guess that's why they make many different kinds of music, so that we can all enjoy ourselves.

So, it's Monday -- no Tuesday this week! Hooray!

Oh, and Pete, let's talk re: summerfest -- i'll let you know when they start announcing acts at the free stages (some of the headliners have been revealed but those are regular shows and you don't really get the sfest experience), and you let me know when you'd like to come up and we can coordinate. they typically do deals for admission each day (it's like $18 just to get in the door) if you go early, so i'd suggest taking time off work -- makes for a cheaper day, and as the days wear on it gets more and more and more crowded/annoyingly drunk -- i typically stop having fun around 7.
