For the fifth consecutive month, total Honda and Acura sales broke
records in October, increasing 4.2 percent over last year to 110,895
units, American Honda announced today. Year-to-date sales of Honda and
Acura vehicles increased by 6.2 percent to 1,223,812, continuing a
record-setting pace and putting the company in line for a 12th straight
year of sales increases. Honda Division also broke records for the
fifth consecutive month, with strong sales of the revolutionary
Ridgeline pickup and the newly redesigned Civic. Ridgeline posted its
best month ever in October, with a record 4,974 units, while Civic
