So it's basically just a Segway that you sit down on.

The engineering work is impressive, but let's get real the Segway was a complete flop, and people just aren't going to pay thousands to get the same functionality as a $100 bicycle.

I originally saw this concept on a tv program called Dragon's Den. It is where ideas are brought to an panel of 5 of the richer people in Canada. The video showed of this Uno, was amazing. It has automatic stability control built in so there is no tiping. The market maybe more in Asia or people the ride bicycles. The investors were thinking of licensing the product to someone like Toyota. I guess we shall see what happens.

Kudos to a young kid for this invention.

Neat idea, but will it actually sell if it hits the market? It's definitely a creative and novel design, but is it practical or more importantly, safe? What happens if the rider has to stop suddenly? Right now, the thing has only been taken up to 15mph and honestly, I don't see if ever going faster. First person to get paralyzed Reeve-style is going to put this company out of business forever. In any case, it's an interesting concept and looks totally cool. I wouldn't turn down a chance to test drive one. Just give me a helmet and some good pads ;)
