Following the denial statement of the Mexican telecommunication millionaire Carlos Slim, Honda Racing F1 is not listed in his interest. However, a possible buyer could be Vijay Mallya, an Indian businessman who has invested and bought the former Spyker team.
Although Honda Racing F1 is priced at the moment with 1$ tag, the major costs is employing 700 people and their attendant facilities and operations. The operating budget is on a high scale, close to $300 million, but through cut backs it could be going to a minimal of $70 million.
