Finally, you will find out how old is your car… in human years! It took a lot of research to come up with this formula found at Blue Donut, that will finally determine your car’s age as a person. Just do the maths and divide your car’s mileage by the year of build. To complicated perhaps? Well here is the age of my S2000.
41010miles / MY2003 = 20.4 years old

This doesn’t make sense though. When you buy a brand new car, you have to drive it 2009 miles before it turns 0 ? negative years old? also need conversion for KM. there;s your parade getting rained on

Yeah this doesnt make sense, a tracked car will age more then a Daily Driven vehicle or a garage queen, this post sucks, Sorry!

I hope you realize that 0/2009=0 and 2009/2009=1. You would never have “negative years old” because there will never be a negative number as the numerator or denominator. So if you buy a new car in 2009, until you drive it for 2009 miles, your car will be less than a year old (in human years) but more than 0. As for the km conversion, 1mile is about 1.61km. Just convert it first.
Stop and think next time before you try to rain on someone’s parade.
