First Wooden Supercar: The Splinter

This model is a part of a project of the North Carolina State University. The project is an actually research to find new uses for wood-based materials. If they could only find a way to build also a wooden mid-mounted 4.6-litre supercharged V8 that could take it to 240mph.

    on the upside though, if you drove off a bridge, it’d give you plenty of time to exit the car. or hey, why not just throw a mast up and sail down the river huckleberry finn style!
