Honda Announces New President-CEO and Management Changes

http://kafenedaki.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/management_board_3831143_.jpgHonda announced that management changes will be made this year. Mr. Takanobu Ito will be the new President and CEO and will take the place of  Mr. Takeo Fukui by the end of June 2009. Mr. Ito joined Honda back in 1978, and began his career in the automobile’s R&D department, mainly as an engineer in the area of chassis design. He was particularly in charge of developing the all-aluminum uni-body frame structure for the mid-engine NSX sports car that went on sale in 1990, a world’s first for a production vehicle of any volume.

Perhaps we could see light for the NSX Successor after all together with a little hope for Honda F1 Racing Team, but lets wait and see.

An overview of Honda’s management changes is listed here.
