Honda UK workers vote for a pay cut to save their jobs

http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00710/Honda_682_710826a.jpgUK Honda workers vote a decrease on their wages, rather than loosing their jobs. With a drop of 50% in production of UK’s car industry, some factories are shutting down while others are running over the edge. Honda has given a choice to its workers to take a pay cut; otherwise 490 employees will be off. Workers voted for a 3% drop in wages and the management gets also a 5% reduction. It’s a hard decision to make, but also a good solution to keep the workers on the job with an additional six days of leave. It is certainly better than having no job at all.
