Honda Civic Hybrid: Honda tries to settle mileage suit off court

http://venturebeat.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/lawyer.jpgMany Honda Civic Hybrid owners are complaining since 2007, for the low mileage their vehicles achieve. A law suit has gone against Honda and it seems like this case will be settled off court. In order to achieve this, Honda plans to give vouchers to settle the case out of court. If this actually gets approved, owners of 2003-2008 Civic Hybrids will get a voucher worth up to $1,000 to purchase a new Honda car or at least a check for $100 if they can prove they complained to Honda about their car’s mileage. Sounds complicated in a way, don’t you think?

2008 cycic hybrid, is a piece of junk for milage, Don’t buy one. We are averaging 37MPG for over 23000 miles. In winter it is sometimes 32 to 34. We have had a District manager look at two times and he said it is ok.
