This seems to be the question, and a good one at that being asked by our member King. He has started a poll on the S2000 talk forum designed to track age demographic data for all people that currently own and drive an S2000. In his own words it is “Just a poll to see how our owners stack up in 2010?“
I think this is a great idea and has potential for providing insight into how the ownership pattern has changed, if at all over the last decade. I welcome you to go forth and answer this poll, so we can get a good picture of ownership age profiles.
Like the Honda S2000 registry started by our member ralper, this too is an idea on par with that and fully deserving of our support. So please click through and support this initiative. Also if you would spread the word among your friends and in your local forum. Such data will go a long way in establishing the S2000 as an automobile legend.

I am 35 and have been completely consumed by Honda Motor Company. I have an AP1 with a heavy mod list and just love this car to death. I also purchased the Ridgeline and the new Civic SI sedan which I am also very impressed with.

Im 21 Had the car (my03 silverstone/black) all stock i daily it and love it and will most likely keep the car forever. Ive had 15 + honda’s/acuras. bought the s with 70000 now about to roll over 100000 and its never had a single problem and still runnin strong on the original clutch.

i was 17. i bought it december 6 2007. yes, i bought it. not my father. i almost totaled it january 29 2008. :{ its sad how i remember these dates but i still cant remember the anniversary of my girlfriend and i. (ive dated her for almost a yr.)

I’m 38 and bought my NFR AP2 brand new in January of 2004. Bought it as it came off the transporter, 9 miles on the clock, plastic still on the seats. Today it has 45k on it and still looks brand new…was actually mistaken for a 2009 a year ago when I stopped by Honda to get some parts!

Another revealing statistic might be “how old were you when you bought your S2000?” To me that’s more telling than current age since this poll (current age) repeated in following years will just have older and older people. Age at purchase tells me a few things- financial ability of driver at the time of purchase, decision of only car (younger) vs secondary car (assumption with older buyers), youth appeal etc.

I’m 19 and had MY00 for a year now. Just hit 43k! Its my DD and best car i’ve ever owned, definitely a big step up from a ’97 civic and ’99 miata.

38, daily driver, Had my 04′ for 3 yrs, bought it with 11k on it in 07′ and just like Fs2k, every day you drive it, it’s like driving it for the first time all over again and again and again and……..
