Video of the Week: S2000 is not a drift car?

The S2000 is not a car meant to be drifted. This is a usual statement that we hear and read on the web; however, there are some drivers including myself who think otherwise. We believe that the driver of the S2000 in today’s Video of the Week would agree with us. As you shall notice, the track is wet in certain corners, but still, even on dry pavement, you can see what the driver and his S2000 are capable of doing when he positions his car before entering every single corner. Enjoy this video and his drifting session.

All it takes is an s2000 and a very very good driver (drifter)

its not easy to link turns that with the 50/50, found that impressive.

Notice how he’s using an AP1, the superior drifting version of the S2K.

For me, the few times I attempted to conquer drifting in my AP2, I found it very difficult to balance on the cusp before the rearend snapped out from my control. And I certainly never had to yank on the ebrake like this dude. sheesh.

It’s possible to drift it. It just takes practice. And if you have several thousand to alter the suspension setup, then it’ll be a bit easier for you.

lots of practice and $$$ for tires lol, suspension is mainly a one time addition. rubber is used like it grows on trees.
