Video of the Week: The Last Run

All good things come to an end. Likewise, production of the S2000 also came to an end much against our desire that it be built into perpetuity. Our member aphex4000 decided to commemorate the demise of the S2000 by compiling a video entitled “The Last Run”.

He downloaded all the video content from Honda’s website and edited it from over 40 minutes of footage down to a very viewable eight minutes. Watching the video, one can’t help but feel nostalgic for an era gone by. Lest the tears well up in your eyes as the S2000 leaves the production line, bear in mind that you have one of those fine specimens parked outside waiting for you.

Click through and enjoy our video of the week!

Cool video, interesting to think that the vehicles shown could possibly belong to someone on this forum.

Wow this car from inception was destined for greatness. So glad I drive one of those today. I truly enjoy this edited version, makes me truly appreciate my S more.

I wonder how many cars today really get built and assembled like our S2000′s? There seem to be more man than machine in the assembly lines.

104,500 Miles on mine, and love it just as much now as I did on mile 10. I rag and beat this daily driver constantly, and she keeps on tickin’. I could care less about the next Honda sports car, because I already have THE Honda sports car. :)
