Carlos Slim, a Mexican businessman will not buy the Honda Racing F1 Team. There were rumours for the past few days, that a deal was so close to go through. However in a recent statement by the telecommunication millionaire, it was clearly denied that there was no negotiation between them.

It’s official! Honda has pulled out of Formula 1. A statement by Honda President and CEO Takeo Fukui released today confirms it. The official statement from Honda is below the fold.

Honda and Andretti Green Promotions have teamed up to return Indy racing to the streets of Toronto, Canada after the event went down with the Champ Car series.
