This is the same engine that is in the Ariel Atom. They use hondata with their own tune to bump it up to 245 (from what I remember from my tour of Ariel) and then supercharge it to 300bhp. Looks just like FC20!

Dissapointed to see this car go. I wanted to get the newer 3000 version that would have came out. Honda should bring this back and make it faster and stronger. I’ll have to keep mine now.

Japanese companies don’t work like other companies; I doubt anyone gave it a second thought.

They fell on their sword, which is what they were supposed to do. They did the honorable thing, and now it’s on to figuring out how to make a car dog-friendly.

I suspect that the first aftermarket mod most people will want is a new bumper to pretty up the big gaping hole in the front. It’s a shame really, the CR-Z is a beautiful car from ever angle *except for the front*. I don’t know why or when it became trendy to have such a big grill area, but they all look like the gaping maw of an inflatable love doll.

I hate to say it: the Mercedes-Benz powerplant played a (huge) role in the ex-Honda package too.
That said, IF Honda had a change of winning the F1 championship it was this year.
