1. Inaugural Orlando Meet Is a Resounding Success

The Eibach Honda Meet has long been one of Southern California's premier events. But after 12+ years of meeting up in Corona, California, Eibach decided to bring the event to the east coast. Specifically, Orlando, Florida. Despite just announcing the event back in December, word of mouth and the wonders of the Internet resulted in around 400 cars and 1,500 people filling the parking lot of the Universal Technical Institute.

2. Orlando Was an S2000 Wonderland

As you can imagine, a good chunk of those 400 cars were S2000's. And we're not just talking about stockers here. Many of the cars that showed up in Orlando were top notch, magazine quality rides. With mods ranging from full on hardcore engine work to stunning custom bodies, there was something to suit everyone's personal taste.

3. Was This Event a One Hit Wonder?

Nothing has been announced in regards to a return to Orlando next year, but judging by the turnout, we'd say it's a no-brainer. Clearly, the Honda scene in central Florida has been clamoring for just such an event. But it might need a change of venue, as the UTI parking lot barely held the crowd that showed up this year.

4. Tae Min Chang's AP2

Tae Min Chang thankfully made an appearance with his awesome 2007 S2000. We especially love this car because it was built not from some rich kid's trust fund, but rather six day work weeks at the local dry cleaners. All that work and a lot of good taste resulted in the Vortech supercharged beauty you see before you. We'd say it was totally worth all those long, hard work days.

5. Matt Hamilton's Supercharged 2003 S2ki

Unsurprisingly, Florida resident Matt Hamilton's Audi Nardo Grey S2000 made an appearance at the show. Sporting a number of aero enhancements, Matt's car was built with the goal of incorporating the best Japanese tuning products into what would be the ultimate S2k. That includes massive brakes, a tuned suspension, and the proverbial cherry on top - an HKS GT Supercharger.
