1. Don't Burn Rubber

Car shows have certain vibes to them, and seeing all of the cool cars will make you fired-up, but you need to keep yourself under control. Doing a burnout or doing donuts in the middle of the car show is one of the most awful things you can do. No one wants to smell your burning tires, no one wants to get their cars dirty, and finally, no one trusts you that you won't smash in their expensive cars.

2. Park Appropriately

Parking with an angle sure does make your car look more attractive, but you don't own the show. Be respectful to others and only take one spot, if your car is attractive, it will catch the eyes in all directions. If you take more than one spot to make your car look cooler, however, you will immediately be labelled the jerk of the show.

3. Follow Instructions

When the staff member tells you to go left, go left, and if they tell you to stop, just stop. Just because you've spent thousands of dollars on modifications doesn't make you an undercover cop. There is a reason why they have staff there to regulate traffic, ensure all cars are safe, and other reasons that you may not know at the time, but they could make your life much easier.

4. Don't Touch

No one likes hand prints all over their shiny paint, and no one wants you wiggling their spoiler to see if it's sturdier than yours. Most cars at car shows are extremely clean, and most of them are worth a lot of money from all of the expensive modifications. So, keep your hands to yourself and use your eyes to appreciate the beauty around you. Car owners will love you for that.

5. Don't Fight

If someone touches your car, given they are new to the car show scene, don't start fighting with them. No one wants two grown-adults rolling in the dirt next to their valuable cars. If you don't like something, kindly ask the person to not do it. In the end, everybody is there because they share the same passion, and no one is there to hurt you or your car. Take it easy and enjoy a great day out with your car.

6. Socialize or Go Home

If you want to stand next to your car without talking to anyone, then why don't you just do that in your garage? Car shows are for people that have similar interests to get together, enjoy each other's cars, and just chat, and if this is something you don't want to do, then you will just come-off rude. Prepare yourself to chat about your car, and feel free to walk around and compliment people on their cars as well, maybe even gather information about certain modifications that you want to do to your car.

7. Keep the Engine Off

Don't be the guy that interrupts everybody's conversations by revving his engine at 6,000 RPM. Even if you have a nice cold air intake or an expensive exhaust system, there is a time and place for everything. When no one else has their engines on, be sure to keep yours off too. Just know that when you act a certain way, people are looking at you not because they are impressed, but because they are annoyed.
