hey andy, any reason why the TEIN dampers are for OEM hood only? im using them on my cf one, should i be worried?

I called TEIN and they say they would not recommend it because they have had customers w/ CF and FRP hoods complain of hoods cracking either at the hood latch or the hood hinge.

They said they had a few complaints. Dunno how many exactly or what kind of hoods the customers had. I even asked if they were gonna do half pressured ones and they said most likely not.

Thanks John. I thought Vu got NRG's? Last time I saw he had blackish dampers. I could be wrong though!
