Default My 02 NA Build Thread

I have no initial goal for my build. Eventually when things settle down in the economy and I know that my job is secure again I will be converting my S2000 into a track monster

So for right now it is all about fun . For those of you who are interested in ITB install and tuning I will be as informative as I can to give the pros and cons alongs the way

Fun = Maxing out redline (think 10k+) and super loud

how are you going to make use of 65.5 mm itbs on a 2.0L engine?

it's interesting that the injectors are before the butterflies, i guess track monsters don't need fuel economy...

Seriousness will not be acceptable on this thread. You can't have fun if you are worried to much about what is supposed to work and what isn't.

Edit - You probably don't want to know about my thoughts on destroking the motor to 1.8-1.9 so I can rev to 11-12k

the build in the link is a 2.3L on 65.5 itbs, you didn't mention you're swapping crank or boring.

i would look into sizing again.... maybe the butterfly position wont completely rob you of torque, but i cant imagine this being ideal.
