Shiney CLEAR headlight lens w/210 polish
I got some 210+ plastic scratch remover and 210 polish from Airgate because of a thread he posted a while back in S2k talk. He did his by hand, I used the pc.
My headlight lenses were getting a very disturbing milky sandblasted effect on the upper edges and had alot of pitting. Plexus would only give me temporary results and the hazing returned within a day.
Here are a couple of before shots
Here are the shots after polishing and finishing, they cleared nicely. Took out about 90% of the hazing. I went through about 5 separate applications of product.
Here is the product
I polished using a sonus green pad and I smeared the lens with the product vs putting it on the pad...learned the hard way - lots of splattering.
I painted my calipers this week also, so here's a gratuitous shot

Do you think this may have taken off the UV coating said to be on the lenses and therefore making them more prone for yellowing?
They look great by the way. I would love to do the same for mine but am concerned about removing the UV coating.

The hazing effect already made the lens a dirty yellow tinge. After polishing the pitting out, the lenses had a nice clear blue-ish hue. If there was UV protection on them, it wasn't working
Here are some side by side before/after pics to better illustrate
As I said before, Plexus was a temp fix and the hazing would come back within a day. Short of headlight replacement, this is a great solution to maintain a stunning new car look. Both bottles came up to $18. Might be hard to find, that's why I hit up Airgate.

I was organizing my polishes and I was reading the label on this 210plus stuff...
made especially for heavy cleaning and light scratch removal of Lexan, Lucite, Acrylite, and Plexiglass.
fyi None of my other plastic scratch removal products mentions these specifically.

Where can you buy this 210 stuff
I got my 210+ from another S2ki member Airgate, so you might hit him up.
